Anyways, I'm gonna give this a try, cuz I heard it's actually not bad. I'm also kind of fed up with those "normal" isekais.

So far I'm loving the sword's attitude - he is goofy as heck (maybe kinda like Arc the Skeleton knight). And we've got a neko girl MC? Yes, yes, yes!

problem is, most manga don't have SQUAT for story. it is the ART that most Japanese fans love. the LightNovels on the other hand have a TON of better writing.

I thought the cell phone, game player siblings, and some others were a little richer but neglected. Slime started too well, even by OP'd isekai standards. I think the power dynamics were on just too broad of a spectrum for life to exist and thus continuity was lost.

never going to happen. the author doesn't even live in Japan and hasn't for many years, he lives in Brazil. after he and his WIFE (his primary illustrator) were accused of plagiarism... quite frankly... those two won't EVER get another anime ever again.

when you have to write a publicly printed apology in your manga's serialization magazine and withdraw MULTIPLE chapters from publication and they are ALSO withdrawn from the tankobon version so they can be redrawn... yeah, that stigma is NOT just going to wash away.

go buy the light novels from Yen Press if you want more NGL... otherwise, don't wait for an anime.

Thank goodness that "So I'm a Spider, So What" was written before I even heard of Slime; Slime and Spider are two of the only decent "Reincarnated as a -" series I've seen; though Skeleton Knight was also a really nice one too. But out of all of them, I feel like Spider has the best protagonist; Rimiru seems a bit much like other MC's where as Spider is much more original.

not really Isekai reincarnated as a something where there long before Slime that one is just one of the very few that are actually good and not forgettable garbage that no one talks and even cares for remembering there names ^_^

Not entirely true, they kind of get their asses handed to them in every single major battle, and they need help to win, and their weakness is that they get OP too quickly, even though your skills are technically better and higher level than your opponent, it depends on how well you use them,
Which is really interesting and give this thing a nicer power balancing than most OP isekai plots
